016: Elimination Diets - What you need to know with Michelle Breau


In the GROWradio Listener’s Lounge last week, I asked what you wanted to hear more of on the podcast, and the resounding answer was that you wanted more SOLO episodes where I teach and speak about topics I’m interested in. This week, I decided to go with the short and sweet, but VERY important topic of how to use an elimination style diet to assist in pinpointing possible food sensitivities that may be triggering symptoms to occur. They’re all the rage these days, and they can be done in a way that is supportive to the body and in helping us to pinpoint potential triggers of your symptoms. That being said, they can also be done in a way that can be potentially dangerous to our health.

It’s also important to note that sensitivities, intolerances and allergies are not the same thing. In this episode, we are specifically referring to sensitivities.

This episode was recorded as a resource to help you really understand the purpose of creating an elimination style protocol, but as always, it is not meant to diagnose or treat any sort of condition. I recommend working with your own practitioner on uncovering whether something like this would be right for you.
